Darragh is a choreographer, movement director and workshop leader with many years experience in theatre, ceremonies, and live events; working with a diverse range of individuals including professionals, volunteer performers, and young people. His interests mainly lie in new writing and any projects which are slightly left-field and unconventional such as Passport to Pimlico, the promenade actor/musician musical which premiered through the streets of Pimlico in July 2013 as part of SouthWestFest. He has a keen interest in working with and motivating young people, having worked with companies such as Islington Community Theatre, National Youth Music Theatre and JAM Theatre. He also thrives on inspiring volunteer performers and working with those who have little or no movement experience on projects such as the Olympic and Commonwealth ceremonies and particularly with the prisoners of HMP Erlestoke on Pimlico Opera’s production of West Side Story.
