Do you Think Ernst and Hanschen represent a one dimensional Melchior and Moritz?

i dont think so. melchior has not shown any romantic interest in moritz in neither the musical or play nor has made any advances on him sexually or romantically. in contrast, hanschen and ernst are both into each other and reciprocate each other's advances. personality wise, i still don't agree. as melchior is against the corrupt system and rebels against it whereas hanschen acknowledges how corrupt the school system is and uses it for his advantage. moritz represents sadness and ignorance while ernst represents naivety.
